  • Honestly, the descriptions that wine enthusiasts employ are comical and outlandish. All this talk of roasted bananas, copper, grass and led pipes is ridiculous; it's an attempt to make something sound more sophisticated and extensive than it actually is. I love it when I hear language like "this wine is so oaky and minerally." Obviously, the conditions under which wine is made imparts flavor, but 90% of these descriptions are complete nonsense.

  • It's pinotage alright :P.

  • my sentiments exactly.

  • South Africa=diamonds

  • Love me some Mott.

  • Sorry to get technical, but Pinotage (correct spelling) is a CROSS of Pinot Noir X Cinsault, and not a CLONE. But I do agree it's a cool varietal.

  • is it pinotage or pintoage? the title says "pintoage" but it sounds like your saying "pinotage". just curious.

  • you realize the reason you can extrapolate all these exotic and mundane scents from a sniffy-nif and s sippy-sip owes to the fact you have a lesion on the walnut.

    mri?

  • gary, i love you man, but you crazy.
