@theult1mateultimatum simon saw cairnsy bitchslap sandy brashear and matt johnson(who people tend to forget he was a real deal heavyweight) simon did not want to try cairnsy that a shame i remember cairns inviting big simon. not like simon was over the hills he was like 30 the fighter prime

@theult1mateultimatum fair enough... brashear was for sure a dominant fighter but like you said he bailed on a lot of fights especially when the other one had his hands free!

@khav11 I believe that, while arguably having a "cowardly" fighting style, Brashear in his prime was one of the best fighters of all time, even though Simon TKO'd him, and Cairns manhandled him a few times. One thing was for sure, once he got those rabbit lefts going, he was nearly impossible to stop.

@khav11 Oh how I wish him and Cairns scrapped, Cairns was top 25 all time and so was Simon so it would've been nice to see that happen. Cairns was a good fighter, great enforcer.

@theultimateultimatum yeah erksine got lucky chris simon was a beast i like the guy especially his antics but i did not like when he beat my dude dave brown. tough to swallow... simon should have fought big cairsny in the isle/nyr rivarly too...
