@SuperfluousGrizzly I sold the one in the video on Ebay, but have since purchased another on Ebay. I think I payed around $170. (used) for the one I currectly have.

@joeystratman Where did you get your comprossor clone.. I'm interested in one but don't want to fork out 200+ for a analogman comprossor.

@andrew19vato Hey man.. Ok, so a compressor takes your guitar signal and sort of squashes it. It puts a cap on the loud sounds and boosts the quiet ones, giving your signal a consistent, punchy kind of sound. You can use the level/gain knob to really boost your whole signal or to limit it. It's really a pretty subtle effect, but it's awesome if you are particular about your sound and want to get the best out of your playing. Boss makes a good compression pedal. Hope this helps.

@vela75 for the most part yes Thank you very much, I just needed to find a way to turn down my distortion without losing the really good sound, and what you said was very helpful as well, Thanks!

@lameduck83 Yeah, I have listened to the diamond compressor several times. I really like that one. It almost seems like it has less compression at hand though. I could be wrong. That's only from what I have heard on YouTube. I've not checked out the Demeter compressor. I know they make high quality pedals though.

@crazyfreak1919 Have you ever heard the Diamond compressor? Also Demeter is a burly pedal and amp maker.

Seems like AnalogMan makes only pretty sounding pedals.

I think I prefer the Keeley to be honest.
To each is own, I suppose.
question, when Im playing with my band my distortions is really killer but its quite loud and when I turn it off my clean is very very quiet would that help with that, or would I be better off trying somethingg else

@ThisISHappanin Before I start playing, I set my level on my amp, then make sure the compressor's level is the same volume when it's turned on. I do the same for the distortion. If your distortion is just slightly louder, and not WAY louder than your clean signal, your clean signal will be the right volume when you turn the distotion off. Then, if you still can't hear yourself when the distortion is on, turn your amp up, or the compressor up, and not the distortion. Hope this helps.
