Aggressive public employee unions and other recipients of taxpayer funds are proposing an income tax, which they expect to bring in a billion dollars per year for higher government spending. They claim only the wealthy will have to pay and that the money will be dedicated to education and health care. They say an income tax will fix Washington's budget problems.

Are they right?

  • 68% of people paying the tax would be small business owners? Is that referring to s-class corporations? Because they're specifically exempt in the bill.

  • Never mind the fact this would be against Article VII Section 1 of the Washington state constitution.

  • Wow! Marvelous video! I hope you are promoting this one somehow! Lots of people need to see this. I live in WA and I will not be affected by this income tax because my income is below the threshold. But I know this tax will hurt the poor.
