US Immigration Fiasco - NBC Nightly news

The US Department of State(DOS) made the priority dates current for clearing the path towards US Citizenship for well qualified, deserving legal (not typo) immigrants. However, the USCIS approved approximately 60k cases in 2 weeks (Previously it approved 60k cases in 6 months) to pull the plug on the 2nd of July, 2007. Please rate this video so that the news of this injustice reaches to people who are in a position to do what is right.

July 17th - Thankfully USCIS & DOS have made up for the July 2nd fiasco by releasing the August bulletin and upholding the June 12th release of July visa bulletin making dates current for all except others.

It takes 5-6 years for an indian to get a Green card where as it takes less then 2 yrs for a mexican.

Its a quota based system and mexico is on a much faster lane than india
