  • Painted silver... DI d they really have to paint it in the first place? Go for the whole retro look, almost American airlines but bare naked look

  • That approach works on new airplanes straight of the production line, but not on older ones (Silverjet doesn't buy new aircraft). You can never strip all the paint from all the ridges and joins. It's unfortunate as not having to paint them saves considerable weight, and therefore fuel and cost.

  • Its not old. Those 767s are the last to be built.

  • and built to last. Sorry, had to say it!

  • What livery is it in before it gets painted?

  • The most boring aircraft painting video I've seen.

  • I don't understand airlines that go out of business and restart a year later with the same management, the same crew (maybe), and the same standards... expecting that they will be successful. They have to change.

  • bloody old friggin planes if you ask me

  • lol :) but i prefair it my way lol

  • Thats true. They've gone bankrupt!

  • And they're gone!

  • This paticualr 767 was from their old company 'FlyJet' Which was terrible and went bust after 4 years (god knows how they went that long) they also have a couple of 767's from thomsonfly.

  • A340 would be way too big for these guys and the loads they are going for. 767-200 is about the right size and flexibility they are after. A330-200 might work in it's place but -300 not so much. (if it was the size they were after a 767-300 would be more suitable). It seems the 767-200 fits their requirements. (and is a ruddy good plane to boot).
