Well, you can still run down and get a Hostesstm Fruit Pie from any local gas station conveince storre, or any other small sotry ore Grocery storte. Yep, Hostess, snacks, preserving that older era in this time of untimeliless and less freedom.Just costlier..

i recall my dad used to bring home fruit pies from a vending machine at work in the late 70s.Not hostess,but "mothers pies",they were dark fried and had no icing,and soo good.I wish they were still available

In the '70's twinkies used to talk! Especially with hits of acid and listening to Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath!

Us 70's kids ate these and other Hostess stuff all the time and didn't have to worry about getting fat because we were out of the house every day, playing. Today, kids spend too much time on their butts playing video games that never end, and spending way too many hours online and more specifically on Facebook.

In the 1970's, I used to race home to watch the ABC Afterschool Special. I remember a lot of these old commercials. The 70's were a great time to be a kid because we had freedom that doesn't exist today and we were not slaves to technology. It was a far less sophisticated and complicated time.

@TheBlueyedblond yeah…and we got to role around the dirt and get really dirty…I have not seen a dirty kid in years, now they wear $100 sneakers and keep them stupid clean..LOL…peace
