Curly - Jumping Journey 2010

This is some footage of Curly's journey with jumping. She started learning to jump in Feb this year, and has learnt to love it. The vid includes her first bounce, her first ever jumping outing (and only second ever comp), and her first horse trials. Excuse most of the vids, my position is shocking, and i get left behind most of the time. She was a bit unco when she first started jumping, hence the legs everywhere and stuff. Once she learnt her technique, her jump got lovely. Very big though! She has come a long way, very proud of her (: she's my firework! Excuse the extreme smallness of the jumps too.. Was when we were learning :) Now jumping 1.05m at home. She has come such a long way. In Feb, when we started training her to jump, she would stop at most things that weren't a single upright. Now, she jumps absolutely ANYTHING! She loves it. I actually could not believe she went and did cross country at Reynella without having had any xc training! She had been over a couple of simple tiny jumps and that was it. She is a completely different horse, with a completely new attitude to life.
