    Oops, I was wrong. I was thinking of the Markham fish weir, but this is the Mt. Airy fish weir. This weir is about 7 miles from the proposed uranium site.

    Actually, the proposed mining site is about 4 to 5 miles west-southwest of the weir, as the crow flies.

  • I think it is amazing to see the Native American's fish weir but also sad because the proposed uranium mining, mill and tailings ponds will be located just above this hill.
