Charter of Pardon - Cornish Stannary Parliment
Five hundred years ago King Henry VII of England granted the Cornish tinners a pardon for which they paid the sum of £1000.
This charter is still legal today as confirmed as valid by the Lord Chancellor in 1977, it includes the right to veto acts of the Monarchy, the Westminster Parliament and the Duchy of Cornwall.
This video shows the reader of the Charter of Pardon at Kingsley village Fraddon.

I wouldn't be so sure, I hear you, I know what you mean, but as long as the voice is there that is the main thing.

There is a tartan for every nation, including the English if you check it out.- take a look at the Tartan museum in Edinburgh. The Cornish tartan was based on the colours of Cornwall- yellow and black and, I believe, fragments of ancient textiles.

Whilst it is admirable that all this is still going on,the likes of Malcolm L, (bless him), etc for all that their hearts are in the right place are never going to attract the type of mainstream attention the movement needs to progress. But thanks for posting it!! :-)
