Nope. Texas was granted independance -- the only one of the dozen Mexican states that revolted against Santa Anna that was not reconquered by the tyrant. Texas was a sovereign nation for ten years before joining the United States.

Make no mistake, if it comes down to the nut cutting we could level the cartel. Im pretty sure they do not own F-18's or predator drones. That said if you think the cartel is a group of good people you might want to ask all the innocent people's families that they have killed what they think.

So whats next America?Are We going to pander and kiss the cartels asses like We do w/illegals?So WTF does it matter which side of the Border a bullet is fired.And protecting Oneself is an INTERNATIONAL right.Maybe if Mexico cant/wont control the cartel grasp on the Border We should do something about it

@calman1951 i bet you that belgium is better organized in immigration than the U.S. People serve our military and are send to war in Congo and other Belgium colonies. That How Spain does it as well. Central America and mexico had problems but later that was solve by guatemalan president Vinicio Cerezo in the late 80's. What you think didn't know about Central America? jaja.
