@NavajoJoe66 "But not all of them are accommodated by "NHM." Right? "
No
Why??
Anyways, of course the BofM has enough details to a specific location of Nahom, no need of the maps

@THELDSLIFE The problem is that EVERY monotheistic religion claims to be the one representing "God's plan." And they can all justify those beliefs with scripture and affirmative answers to their prayers from God himself. Even the LDS movement has several different schisms, each claiming to be the "truth." Just like every other religion. How obvious does it have to be that religion is man-made?
BTW, you do know that Noah's flood is a myth, right? It's been conclusively disproved. Look into it.

@NavajoJoe66 - the reason why there are SO many religions is because man does not always agree with the Lord's plan. Satan, as well, has been BUSY BUSY for centuries easily derailing the children of God from that original plan. Those belonging to God's program were said to be few for many reasons... one of which being: They know not where to find the truth... for others, they are deceived. Many of the worlds problems stemmed from the days of Noah and the flood; separating humanity into many.

@THELDSLIFE The problem is that prayer isn't a reliable method for determining the truth of a proposition. If it were, we wouldn't have so many contradictory religions. Right?
And even if this supernatural being you profess belief in revealed himself to me, it wouldn't follow that I'd find him praiseworthy. The god you believe in endorses slavery, genocide, human and animal sacrifice, vicarious redemption, and he rewards belief over character. I personally find these attributes reprehensible.

@NavajoJoe66 - have you inquired of the Lord? Or shall I say, have you sought to know that there is a God? If you think it is unnecessary to do so, then God would also deem it unnecessary to prove his existence. Why show mankind that HE IS if mankind would still deny him and not serve with and for him? It would condemn mankind to have a PERFECT knowledge of God and have them STILL rebel against him. We have been sent to this earth to be tested. When it is all over, who can we turn to for blame?

@THELDSLIFE No I am not. But I've read the Qur'an, and I've found it to be as wholly nonsensical and man-made as the Book of Mormon, Bible, D&C, PoGP, etc. They're all pious frauds and anyone who really cares about whether their beliefs are true would easily come to the same conclusion. It's the 21st century, information is freely available to non-scholars. There is no excuse for believing in this nonsense at this point.

@NavajoJoe66 - Are you Muslim?
-
@THELDSLIFE Two can play that game.
"Now that a Book confirming their own has come to them from God, they deny it...they reply: 'We believe in what was revealed to us.' But they deny what has since been revealed, although it is truth...Say: 'Whoever is an enemy of Gabriel' will surely find that God is the enemy of the unbelievers. The unbelievers resent that any blessings should have been sent down to you from your Lord. " - Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:88, 98, 103

@NavajoJoe66 - Suppose you'd better hope that there is no one such as Nephi:
"And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell...
2 Nephi 33: 14, 11
"And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day;"

@THELDSLIFE You sound like a Muslim talking about the Koran, with your veiled threats. LOL
I have examined the Book of Mormon, and it doesn't take much effort to determine that it is a 19th century pious fraud. Sorry. You're wasting an inordinate amount of time and money on a hoax. And you'll never get that time and money back. You really should put a little critical thought into this, free yourself from your delusional beliefs.
Indeed. I'm not basing my faith off of that. I'm just really curious. Ancient civilizations fascinate me. It will be interesting to some day talk to a Nephite or Lamanite and ask them about the different aspects of their civilization.
