I daresay he chooses yahweh because that is the god of the culture he is from. I daresay that if he was from the middle east he would choose allah, or that if he was from a hindu background he would choose buddha, or that if he were from a viking background he would choose woden if he came from a mayan background I daresay he would choose votan.
