Gloria's Story

Gloria lived at a racetrack, but she wasn't there to run, and she didn't. She couldn't. Nor could she roam or graze or lounge in the grass. For the first eight years of her life, Gloria was tied up in a barn. Neglected by those responsible for her care, the helpless goat suffered from a painful udder condition that was left untreated and negatively impacted her quality of life. But when a compassionate person came to Gloria's aid and asked Farm Sanctuary to give her refuge, the goat's life took a dramatic turn. beautifully said!!! I always love to see when an animals life that had been hell is turned to one of heaven!!! We misstread so many of them for our convinience.....I am just very happy to see that this animal was saved from a painful and bad way of living, and am happy for this animal ,that it can now lead a "good" life...It is a symbol of hope!!

I love goats! i have one of my own right now(: her name is Sandy and she is my absolute baby(:

She has me hooked on goats, and i am very excited to get another soon.

I am just so happy that there are people like this in the world that stand up for animals in need, and help them to live good happy lives.
