The tragedy of this is that when Angie Stone handed her the microphone, Chaka's voice was not properly warmed up. She blew out her vocal chords and will never be able to perform again. We will miss you Chaka. Thanks a lot Angie Stone!

@lukendo Erykah is not flat, you just don't comprehend her vocals; Erykah has a Jazzy, Neo-Soul kinda thang going on. You have to understand music and vocals to really appreciate Erykah Badu... that's why sooo many people slept on the fact that she could belt out those kinda notes, she been riffing all the time, y'all just been sleeping.

@kcurt2006 You're right, Angie does sound lazy...lol. Erykah is the bomb, some people slept on Erykah's vocal abilities, that's my girl. Ledisi got some new cuts I like that really show her great vocals. Fantasia is my girl too, she can hold her own. Chaka is the Max for me... WONDERFULLY INTENSE AND DEEPLY SPIRITUAL!
