freedommaxnews you have to stop watching only FOX news. The Bush predency did more to expand government and erode the constitution than any democrat presidency in history. Using the patriot act, homeland security, etc. introduced by Bush and company the government now has the power to act like Nazis. I'm with kylecyclopoddoosmole; there is no left and right anymore. They're all puppets of who gives them the most money. Bush/Cheney should be in prison and Obama is a huge disappointment.

So let me get this straight. You think that the Republicans are Nazis, so instead of limiting the power of government over our lives, either financially or socially, you would prefer not only did you hand it over to a Democrat, but the most far left leaning one - an outright communist. yea? i hate bush just as much, in fact clinton was more of a republican than bush. but what does that mean? stop going to the left !!! limit government. don't trust it.

I don't think there's a left and right. I just think there is left and far left. Its nice to have conspiracy theories and throw around the standard "military industrial complex" arguments, but all arguments should be based on demonstrable facts - not slogans.

@freedomaxnews The Republican aren't for limited government. That advocate passing laws to prevent gay marriage, abortion, medical marijuana etc. They also Allowed the government to spy on its citizens after 9/11 and have spent billions on a war in Iraq that has not made a single americian safer.

I agree that Republicans aren't fore limited government. The Goldwater days are over. I'm a libertarian, and always will be. However, I will always side with those who don't see the government as the solution.

the rule of law is a joke.americans say that the constiution is the law. alberto gonzales says that it isnt.the law is only effective if everyone can agree what the law should be. so what do we do? i guess the american people and the government need to solve this problem the old fashioned way.... rock,paper,scissors.... if that doesnt work, i guess we should just go to war.
