Hey cheer up! It was much worse for me when I deployed to the desert. Pretty much felt like cannon fodder for 90% of the time I was there.....

I was on the verge of feeling sorry for her... but then i thought damm theres people that have to work in mines, logging,alska north crabfishing exe. and have to be away from home and their families, shit you should be loving that job to work on a movie set i rather make cinnamon buns than slave away at a mine.Fn young kids today are too soft no disipline, want everything to be easy and fast goodbye.

Thanks for the honesty.
It's a shitty job, but the meories of the rough days will be overshadowed by the glory of having contributed to the project, even if it was making cinnamon rolls.
PA's and assistants are fucking CRUCIAL. You TOTALLY matter, and there is no such thing as a truly mundane job on a film set. You enable the artists to free their mind of everyday worries and do their best work.

why record any of this crap? yes it's a video diary but it is also is directly linked to your proffession. If I did this and talked shit about the boss and looked like an emotional basket case no one would hire me back. it would be dumb to think that people hiring you wouldn't some how see or at least hear of this. everyone is allowed to feel emotion and be pissed at the boss but you don't need to record it for god's sake.
