Uhhhh no. Get your facts straight. Android had voice actions FIRST for a longgg time now. Siri copied ANDROID. Google now is just a beefed up version of what android already had. and dont give me that phandroid crap because i do own an iphone myself.

It is a confirmation. I use siri when i am not looking at the phone, like, in the middle of sleeping. Im not going to stare at the super bright screen in a dark room. I just press the physical button, speak, then hear the confirmation. If i have google now on Nexus 4, I have to look at the screen!!! How annoying! Hey actually, if you hate it, you can turn the voice of siri OFF, or tell her to shut up, she really shut up. I have used it before, on a Note 2.

No if you say remind to this she says "okay, I'll remind you" instead of just shutting up and doing it. The worst part is when she's loading something (which happens ALOT) she just Luke checking my sources or hold on a sec. She should just shut up. It's cool at first but it gets old really fast.

You have never used Google now so I don't think you can judge it.

What did you tell her to do? Did you ask "Siri remind me to take the present tomorrow at 4" then Siri replied "LMAO who are you giving the present to? Yo mama?" like this? Siri only tell jokes when you ask her to, it works well when youre not chatting with her. Can google now book movie tickets? Siri writes email, search movies, give you movie trailer, reviews and it recommend movies.post to twitter, Facebook, and the great thing is that it reminds you instead of noisy alarm clocks.

That isn't an excuse. With your logic I can say I can call resturaunts myself for resuvations. Also, Google maps has reservations built in.

You don't get the full Google now on ios. You just get a watered down version.

I forgot to add in the other comment that though you like siri's jokes when you ask her to do something. It get's REALLY annoying (at least to me) after a while.
