Try a band called Benevolence. Their kinda hard to find, but do have 2 opera singers!

None of these voices are operatic, none of them would even qualify for an opera chorus. Musical theater kind of - maybe, but there is nothing operatic about these voice. None of them would even be heard in opera.

@Wiremux Thanks a lot ^_^
Tarja is amazing, it's just a shame she didn't stick around with Nightwish... ah well :)

Nice video! And useful, too!
You have included so many bands! I learnt new bands through the video and I remembered some bands I had forgotten! It's nice that this video intends to make operatic metal bands further known and more popular instead of fatuously comparing them.
Some more artists with operatic vocals are Chalice, Imperia, Trail of Tears, The 3rd and the Mortal
I'm not sure if you put these guys in or not, but check out Nightwish - their old stuff anyway. By the way, what was the name of the song right at the very end and who was it done by? :)

Hi, I included old Nightwish only through the presence of Tarja (and her solo album), since she was the one with the operatic voice in the band. Anyway, I also like Nightwish a lot. The last song is an excerpt from Epica's The Phantom Agony (or at least one version of it where Simone recites some lines at the end, not all versions have these in them).
