http://www.fhkern.com | Based on a poem by the young German writer Joerg M. Hartmann, "Anima"
reflects the plentiful experiences that the poet had when he lived in
the city of Heidelberg, Germany. Mixed with the luminescent sound of
live Komungo, European harmony is replaced by slithering horizontal
movement and by samples of the poem that become a kind of chord
progression all their own. The music is translucent and meditative,
but requires intensive participation from both the performer and the
audience.
