A very self indulging reading, not much of Schubert or LIszt, may be Paris cabaret music, but certainly far from Wiener Waltzer! Horowitz is practically incomparable in these kind of things.

He's still around and performing, but perhaps not in your area --- if you look at Amazon france, you can probably find two recordings he's done, of Schumann (Carnival, etc), and Schubert-Liszt.

If you could have seen his Don Juan Fantasy at the same compeition, you would have been even more bowled over!

do any1 know what happened to Kuzmin? he has some of the best tech and suddenly disappeared from the scene
