From Bagpipes to Tin whistles, Canada's national anthem is as great a tune as the most popular of anthems and it doesnt necessarily have to be played in a slow and sombre manner. You can find many good arrangements here on You-Tube both upbeat & shredded.
Here is my easy personal version in the folk(ie) tradition that you can play over the campfire. [With a little fret buzz]
