My grandmother say's "OH LAW" all the time. I think that might be a variation of what your family say's. I live in Nashville too, but am actually from east Tennessee. I love being Southern also. "Skat to the barn" when you sneeze is something my grandfather said. "Kearney" for nasty like " that thing is kearney nasty" is another one i've heard from my grandmother.
I have been stung by a hornet! It made me bad sick, my stomach was all tore up! And dang it, they are ILL. Try not to make a hornet mad. :)
My momma said "Law me". I never heard "tuning up and crying" but I will definitely use it from now on! These are great, and thanks so much for the response!
I reckon we've all been through the denial process only to come to our senses and realize that the denial was just plumb stupid!
My mom always says Lord HOW mercy. I'm not sure why it's how instead of have... And where I live (central Alabama) it's Deddy instead of Daddy, haha.
