My little Fred is very food motivated, so it is easy to train him. How old is your Peke? it is a lot of fun teaching your dog tricks, you should try it. I only use positive reinforcement, I reward Fred with a tiny piece of food whenever he gets it right. Teaching Fred a trick is basically playing, lots of fun for both dog and owner :)
