This unit is made of POLYCARBONATE! where the others have been acrylic. Vacuum/water leaks, along with melting wires still cause much frustration. Unit 4 is out of the machine shop and wait for me once my new shop is finished.

  • Hello Salty,

Wow great idea for the bubbler...is the bubbler electricaly isolated from the generator? Current can travel into the bubbler and if the level drops far enough there will be opertunity for sparking. A bit far fetched but not total impossible. Maybe add a bonding wire from the crossover tube to the vapor tube to equalize them. You may need to add metallic fittings in place of the plastic ones.

    Great work!!

  • I was having MASSIVE overheating issues with my cell. try using less baking soda in your electrolyte mixture. this solved my heating issue period. good luck!

  • try running the cell at its tuned efficient voltage, overdriving the cell is causing heat, which is a loss of eff. instead of making hho its making heat. 14vx20a should be about .5L per minute, it could be 1L per minute, and wouldn't get hot.

  • To reduce heating place larger space between the plates, leaving everything else the same.
