@CLDavi1983 shame we had to lose the more detailed/sketched art work since today's anime is very... standardised and digital.

Also while I am more than happy to cast aside the atrocious dubbing we got back then... I preferred the metal music we got in those releases.

i own legend of the overfiend on dvd and i did not see that part of the film, did i blink and miss it or was it cut out of the film, you know saying that i get annoyed when they do it. and what's the point of buying a good anime if they cut bits out of them. right i've had it who here agrees to start a protest against anime companies who 1. cuts bits out. and 2. TO RELEASE ALL COPIES OF ANIMES TO DVD.

Such were the times. Anime during that point was mainly "fifteened" versions of Japanese animation that had gallons of over the top sex and violence. Thankfully we live in a more refined, faithful and sane world and the Anime we get is far superior to the messes they gave us then.

@ilikeknives133 the big expanding face is from AKIRA (slow story but in my opinion best anime movie ever made) and .. ah try and get original english Dub , they spent approx 1 mlllion redoing audio back in about 2000 , original is better IMO . everyone should see AKIRA and with respect to its age, its kinda about turning people into gods , love the lazer weapons bick chases , just EPIC
