You gave one of the guttsiest performances of the London 2012 games today. Courageous, determined, and you showed an incredible pride in your country with your comments after the race. You made me proud to be a Canadian, and I have been serving Canada for 20 years now. The road to success is paved with failures. You are going to have an incredible future.

yeah then you should understand. its not like she choked. her sport is just entirely dependent on conditioning and she couldn't train to the best of her ability because she was injured so close the Olympics. it certainly was not because she did not have the will or didn't execute properly

Clearly someone whose never done sports at a high level and then suffered a serious injury. Not so easy to come back when you can't train for a while.
