  • this is a FANTASTIC lecture

  • This lecture is a treasure trove of information on the important work Dr. Edelman and his colleagues at the Neurosciences Institute have been doing for many years. I thank UCLA for posting it in spite of the video and audio shortcomings. Edelman is an excellent lecturer!

  • Is it me but 23 minutes into the lecture I start hearing a tinny radio sound? Have to rewind so I can concentrate again.

  • though I don't see the point of the argument against the computer metaphor

  • looks like process-philosophy and neuroscience finally met - great lecture

  • i think the cameraman was lazy and just put the camera in one position and listened to music at full blast on his ipod. hope they get a better cameraman in other vids.

  • and the blood of able cried out from the earth, scandelous can only be called scandelous from someone who;s NCC is connected with the ghost in the machine, of humanities advance and sciences advance with phenominal research.
