@drake717 in fact the point is that they could have never approched the death star if Han and Leia did not destroy the bunker of the sheild generator on the Endor planet. They could not have destroyed it without the help of the ewoks, wisch was a surprising alliance that the emperor did not expected.

I know i might be offending the star wars fans(meaning like half of earth) but i just find it so stupid to build a planet(death star) and also built some whatever that is(3:14) that anyone can shoot at anytime and the whole planet explodes, all the work all the people, george lucas didnt really think too much about it. I would have at least made the road to the 3:14 thingy way harder to pass, thats how much the deathstar-ers care for protecting theyr planet? a few stupid robots?
