  • I don't get angry at every communist country. I think communism does not work, which is why China is a capitalist country now, even though it's still ruled by a "communist" party.

  • Dude, I lived in a communist dictatorship, you don't need to tell me what's in the eyes of most western people. And also, here's a little revelation: most western people never supported Iraq war, and never will. It's just as wrong as murdering civilians in Tibet.

  • If showing respect for the Chinese people is not possible without showing respect for the Chinese dictatorship, then I can't show any respect. Sorry, it's a moral stance. I wish more people took it when my country was suffering from a dictatorship.

  • I apologize if my words hurt you, but I will say them anyway. They're not meant to offend the Chinese people, but the Chinese government. It is the dictatorial government that shot civilians, and it is THEY who disgraced China and marred these Olympic games with blood. And if you're asking people around the world to act as if nothing has happened, you're asking too much.

  • This is an insult to the Chinese government, NOT the Chinese people! The ones who think that it's OK to murder Tibetans when they're protesting, ok I don't mind insulting their pride either. But the majority has no idea about the scale of the murder in Tibet, nor about the fact that the world thinks less of their country because of the actions of their government. The day the Chinese media will allow the Chinese people to have those thoughts will be the day the dictatorship collapses. Not soon.

  • At least the "evil western media" actually shows what's happening in London and Paris. The free and fair Chinese media conveniently turns the cameras off whenever protesters are in sight, which makes for very short footage indeed.

  • I deserve to comment on whatever I want. And in my view (got that? this isn't Beijing, I can actually express my view on whatever I want on the net), China does not deserve the Olympics, because that would be the same as saying "we choose to turn the blind eye to the shootings in Tibet". Moreover, what really ticked me off is the unbelievable arrogance of the Chinese government, acting as if nothing's going on. Reminds me of the USSR, and yes I DO know what I'm talking about, I lived there.

  • Please, you really think it's only Tibetans that are protesting? Open your eyes, the whole world supports these protests. China does not deserve the Olympics, not until it stops murdering civilians on the streets.
