Whiskey Johnny (A) [273-276] (202-204)

To properly prepare for this chantey I HAVE NOT drunk whiskey or hard booze for over a month! See, what a lot of people don't get is that sea chanteys are about NOT having (drink, etc.) -- which is why they are not "drinking songs"!
However, this great chantey for hauling on the tops'l or t'gallant halyards could have been used as a not so subtle hint for those in charge to "issue a tot of rum."
