Michael J. Lavery is known as the Hammer Man of Golf and he has methods that can help you hit your drives in excess of 300 yards. He trains with hammers and lots of different kinds. He has unusual hand to eye coordination and he writes about how you too can achieve both the improve ball striking skills and the strength to hit the golf ball in excess of 300 yards. His secret is to take a shorter backswing but to still have great lag. The lag comes from the strength increases you will experience once you start to do the hammer drill training. When you read his book Whole Brain Power you will learn how to increase your processing ability with both sides of the brain. This in turn increase the signaling from the brain to the body and also results in greater muscle density. The reason Lavery can hit the ball so long with his incredibly short backswing is because he depends heavily on his hammer drill training. The golf club can be swung with consumate ease even though it is 48 inches long and has a swing weight of G5. His distance with his irons is also quite amazing. He has the capacity to hit his pitching wedge 170 yards with his short backswing. Look for more videos by the Hammer Man of Golf.

  • i guess youre fucked if the lie isnt perfect, and you cant shape the ball (at least not consistent) - but nice swing

  • @FullTimeHypocrite This swing works well for me and I can even shape the ball.

Check out Robert Twine (shot a 57 recently) He does the hammer drill training in the Whole Brain Power program. Just Google him.

  • how the feck are you gonna get a set of irons with that swingweight?

  • @fastandyc The extra length of the club and lead tape can increase the swing weight significantly.

  • The amount of speed you create with a short back swing is truly incredible! Just curious what is your swing speed and or ball speed? Great impact position by the way!

  • @Strgchris Thanks for your comments. As for my swing speed it varies upon the weight of my driver. This club is extremey heavy so the swing speed is sacrificed for more mass. I usually cruise between 110 -115 mph. Watch the shaft and how it flexes alot and kicks at the last micro second.

  • @politicalpuppettv Yes, it is legal to play in sanctioned tournaments with lead tape on the golf clubs. It is also legal to add weighting systems into the shaft of the golf club too. Do research on players who have played with heavier clubs than the standard off the shelf models. Good luck with your experiment.

  • can I legally play in competition with the tape?
