Creating a matinee/cinematic that modifies a material instance parameter.
I'll create an instance of a parent material with a color parameter - Reference it in kismet/matinee, animate the material instance's color parameter, and trigger it via a trigger volume.

I managed to apply everything and see the effect in matinee, however when I use it on a trigger nothing happens... why?

Might want to add. This will not work if your materialinstanceconstant is applied on CSG geometry. I had to find that out the hard way. :)
