@mslorraine one last thing.. the elephant is still handled by the same trainer and lets say if they didnt abuse her which i doubt it, a bullhook is still a training tool or weapon and tai will live all her life being abused.. And funding for this movie is a way of supporting the circus and its affiliations with the training program as part of the process to circus.

@pebbles92able Tai the Elephant's trainers are a company called Have Trunk Will Travel. They are the ones who need to be protested against. They were the ones abusing not only Tai but every elephant in those videos.

@mslorraine an animal does not participate unless they are afraid.. hey but serious circus trainers tend to lie. I went to protest against ringling bros and we witnessed them hitting an elephant with a bullhook. After we tried publicizing it to the media one of the trainer denied it and claims that they treat the elephants humanely. One elephant collapsed and the vet examined just to discover that she urinated puss, ill & fatigue from water deprivation and the trainers claimed she was alright

@pebbles92able I searched for that and every article had the same video from 2005. TMZ, Huffington Post, etc...

"Animal Defenders International (ADI) said the video was shot in 2005." Like I said before, the abuse was before filming and not on set. The American Humane Association were on set everyday they claimed that there was no abuse. The video isn't on youtube anymore but if you go to dailymotion and search AHA on ‘Water for Elephants’, you'll see their video.
