Heart performing Cook with Fire, in the late 70's. With Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, Howard Leese, Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier. There is some nice backstage footage too.

  • OK, Can anyone believe that this band ISN'T in the rock and roll hall of fame? How can that be?

  • I loved this; thank you so much. Heart was not just another band.

  • @MOSKII58 then guitar and blonde singer break up & blonde goes w/ Drummer, then of couse another major relationship w/ other female singer goes down..just amazingly similar, yet The mac capitalized on it in a big big way..two major hits "dreams" &" You can go your own way"..i think Dreams might have went #1

not sure but both were top 20. maybe top 10 ...or better on a last thg, Roger & Lindsey..2 of my absolute fav guitarists, but very unique and played white les paul customs..peace

  • @Dietpepsivanilla yeah but here she was a dream, Roger was one lucky bastard, & then he'll tell ya,..he BLEW it..just for a different taste, he could not turn away and he got snagged..that was the beginning..of the end... What amazes me is how Fleetwood Mac beat the odds & not only stayed together for aLL those years, but wrote some od the best tunes about the very subect, night after night they did it..amazing..the similarities are shocking, guitar & blonde singer.....

  • c'mon.,.....i said c'mon c'mon ....then Roger & nancy come in... such a cool song, perfect opener, like a chant....they can really stretch this one out, do it anyway they want, experiment,

exchange multiple leads, too great..Heart was exploding all over the stage and if you were lucky enough to catch them around this time, well it was a treat, i was blown away when i saw Nancy play the opening diddy to "crazy on you" i always thought it was one of the guys, hell she can hold her own..

  • @Dietpepsivanilla yes, butt was/is hotter !

  • @MOSKII58 you mean nancy and mike d's relationship

  • @msinthrop hi msinthrop how are ya its been a long time ...

  • @seattlelovemonger they can't w/o the original line-up and the only way i think that might ever happen is if Howard Leese ties them back up and somehow convinces the girls it would be a historic reunion, but i guess scorn lovers hold long long grudges, its only been what 31 yrs or more, c'mon ladies at least do it when you get inducted..the eagles did it.. yeah Howard is the only one on good terms with Ann & Nancy from what i know...

  • @painemporium now Annie is what two women should look like..sorry i couldn't resist,

but she;s had enough time to start losing some weight she had the surgery, the lap band, maybe she should just try Duct tape...

  • @BBQFanNo1 these ladies along w/ Grace Slick, Pat benetar,Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Janis, they were true stars, not this crap we have today...yes i purposely excluded Madonna, she ain't rock & she ain't Roll..she just got very lucky w/ the little bit of talent she had..i also loved Melanie even though she was more of a folk singer like Joni Mitchell , another great one..one last super talent..Carol King...what a talent..

  • @babyj1996 someone else on the tube said that Steve had suggested Ann was expanding at too great a rate and he was let go along w/ Mike...at least we got 5 great lps out of them, so it good for awhile but relationships usually hurt a band to a point of no return...
