*OFFICIAL* Fantasia Attempted Sucide by Overdose 911 call

The Fantasia overdose Monday night was officially classified as a suicide attempt, according to police they received an urgent 911 call from the home of Fantasia Barrino reporting a suspected drug overdose. In the Fantasia 911 call, the male caller relays to 911 dispatch that "an individual took a bottle of aspirin, and she's slowly losing consciousness."

Later in the just-released Fantasia 911 call, the male caller states Fantasia was put into the shower by family members trying to keep the singer awake and alert. The 911 dispatcher can be heard telling the male caller to get Fantasia out of the shower, possibly fearing a slip and fall injury on top of the overdose. Police and emergency crews responded to the home of Fantasia Barrino minutes after the 911 call was placed, and Fantasia was hospitalized accordingly.
