midnightManiac, that's a bit harsh of a comment, don't you think? As long he likes it that's all that matters. So you think it's overpriced, well it was his money and can spend it any way he wants to. I didn't want to comment and just wanted to watch the video, but I thought you were being way too harsh on this guy. And he's right, 5th scale is a whole new and different world. i love it and got 6 of them and eyeballing this MCD.

Is that as fast as that overpriced monster truck will do? You can tell there's not a lot of power because it's hardly kicking up any dirt! I was interested in one of these now I'm not. My Revo 3.3 would literally eat that thing up and it's half the price of that thing! No disrespect or anything but I was expecting much more for the price tag.

@MidnightManiac101 No disrespect taken, too each there own. I personally would never run a little 1/8 scale Revo, I prefer the 5th scale gas cars. However, 5th scale is not for everyone, you have to pay to play with the Big Boys. ;-)

@deene000 I would say around 40mph, but it all depends on the gearing set up. You can gear the MT for either torque or speed, that is one thing I like about the MCD it is easy to change the gearing around.

Just wondering to stop all the sand and dirt coming in the car.
Do you think it would be possible to remove the MT sideguards and instead mount the Race Runner Chassis mudguards and RR Body Shell under the Monster Truck body?
If this is possible then the MT engine, servos and all the other stuff wouldn`t get so dirty or wet.

@sdiz86 You could do it but I dont think it would look very good. The MT body sits high enough so it shouldnt interfere with the RR body and the side guards but for me I think it would look kind of funny.
