Lever Soap Plant

We read up on the internets about an old abandoned soap factory down in Pagedale and decided to do take a trip down there; it was obviously well worth it. We met a friendly fellow there who enlightened us on a great way to make to make good money on our expeditions. All we have to do is strip the buildings of copper wires and aluminum and sell them for cash at scrap yards, the only catch is that its a federal offense LOL!

I don't know how "rad" it was. It was the plant where my father had worked the bulk of his career. It's sad to see it in such shape.

Sorry to hear that, respect. It's unfortunate that these places have to go out like this but that's part of the reason I make these videos, to get em before they're gone. What years about did he work there?

My dad worked at this factory for more than 28 years. He told me the birds of prey ( he couldn't remember if they were hawks or falcons) were purchased to keep the pigeons away. We were surprised to see that they are still there. It would be interesting to find out if they have bred through out the years and created a cast.

I barely remember coming here on "Bring your kid to work day" probably in the late '70s. I had no idea it was so far gone. Cool Video.
