  • My uncle has had it for a few years now and he's only 63. I can't read what it says the music is called. Can anyone tell me? I expect to hear Maria Callas start to sing :)

  • Adagio in G minor by Albinoni

"Adagio in G minor for strings and organ is a piece arranged by Remo Giazotto and supposedly based on fragments from a Sonata in G minor by Tomaso

Giovanni Albinoni which were found amongst the ruins of the old Saxon State Library,

Dresden, after it was firebombed by the Allies during World War II. The Adagio was first published in 1958."

    Thank you, m

  • Alzheimer's discriminates against old people.

  • Ironic... that Ronald Reagan had Alzheimers after declaring falsely to the world that "marijuana use inevitably leads to brain damage". Marijuana, or more specifically cannabidiol, one of the many constituents of cannabis is being used to treat Alzheimers successfully and there is much more research being undertaken. Look it up people, cannabis improves your brain function.

  • Sargent Shriver (at 5:38) was not a composer and writer about American music. He was the brother-in-law of President John F. Kennedy and the founder of the Peace Corps. He was also the democratic vice-presidential nominee in 1972. Your English is good but needs to be edited by a native speaker.

  • The terrible part of this disease is that the victim eventually goes into a trance state and the caregiver suffers tremendously. I should know, I was one of them.

  • @PauleQueenie okay

  • @EMOTIONALLOGICABLE , not quite, I wrote about collaboration WORLDWIDE. You seem to be mixing up the content of previous conversations. I think it is best ot leave this conversation now.

    Good day.

  • @PauleQueenie You're right. Many researchers just want to publish new findings to gain acclaimation or rewards. Much of their effort is just for advertising purposes, not to really help the public. You are right about duplication of work. It is a total waste of time for scientific purposes, and I am an animal rights person so I don't like unnecessary research. There is definately a collaborative effort needed between laboratories across the country.

  • @EMOTIONALLOGICABLE, not quite finance, the press nor sport, it is ONLY sciences. Sciences issues have to remain scientifically purposed. See for one disease, there can be many different approaches, these imply duplication of work and therefore waste of TIME. And because of those duplications, research which use animals for testing or research, end up sacrificing too many of them (this is a terrible waste of life too). Perhaps greater REAL management and openess is needed between the labs, EASY

  • @PauleQueenie So then these research centers have to start working together on a collaborative effort, and also share the money that they get in research donations. They could then release to the press the findings they agree upon, and also release some of what they don't agree upon if the findings are documented as per what research center they originated from. That way we can start getting the ball rolling in a positive direction.
