@ItzNickish R3, more flexibility, better sound (in my mind), and not to mention FULL SIZED KEYS. Something lacked back the microkorg and the microkorgxl

by the way, i personally think the r3 sounds glassy and even plastic-y, if that makes sense. I had one for about a month but ended up selling it because I didn't like the overall sonic character. It certainly does have some uses, but I think there's better stuff out there.

It feels like a plastic toy, the vocoder is garbage, the whole thing looks silly as hell and every patch on board makes me want to cry, but with DWGS, 2 timbres and a really deep effects section you can make this thing sound like the m'fin apocalypse bearing down on you. Next to the Blofeld it's one of the dirtiest, meanest bits of kit in its price range for sheer massiveness. I'd buy it again as a rackmount or even a plugin.
