Mahabharata (Brook) - Last words of Bhishma on the condition of man

This scene from Peter Brook's "The Mahabharata" (1989) shows the death of Bhishma and the last words that he speaks to Yudhisthira and Dhritarashtra, who both inquire from him an answer to the question upon which the original Sanskrit Epic wholly rests.

Two versions of this movie exist on DVD, one lasting over five hours, the other one being much shorter. The scene here presented is taken from the extended version, which is still available on DVD.
