@b1gbudda I did that but I can't get the text box to fill out the whole area, it only does one line. If I press enter it starts pushing other things around.

@sha1b make template in photoshop, slice links and content box, save for web and devices, open in dreamweaver, delete image of content box and make it re appear in the background, then type in it

hi there,
your video has given me the tools to do what I need to do, however, when I created the scrolling text box, the text is going right hard up against the scroll bar. is there a way to insert some code so there is some space between the right of the text and the scroll bar and if so, what's the code?!

Sadly I do not have web service because of money issues, but the hosting service I had was Host i can, it's one of the best services I've used, I highly recommend it!
