You guys wanted more gameplay, here are some good clips of the Remington 870 shotgun, which is a BEAST of a gun. I might use some of these in a montage later on.

  • shotguns in this game are pretty much the only shotguns done right in a video game.

  • @roboblox42 I'd say Medal of Honor has the best shotguns to date. BC2 comes close to that.

  • BF BC 2 :).. Played it alot but it seems so far ago.. This reminded me of the moments when I was flanking and my character screamed something that made me wondering if the enemy heard me and knows im behind their back.. Nice kills :)

  • @pedromuse I'm honestly not sure. I suppose it's a part of it.

In any event though, the shotguns in BC2 are (so far as I know) realistic in how they work: the unrealistic aspect is the character's ability to aim it so accurately from the hip, getting headshots with the aid of a crosshair. Realism would be having to stand still and aim down the ironsights. I imagine if you did that, you could be fairly accurate to 200m with shotgun slugs (though I have no experience to base that on).

  • @boiledelephant isn't it connected anyhow?

  • @pedromuse When he pulls that off, it's because he's using slugs.

Also note, he said "best shotguns", not "most realistic shotguns" in a game.

  • @roboblox42 even when it comes to killing people with a 870 from 200 metres?

  • The art of flanking.. Great video!

  • best looking shotgun ever!

  • Where'd you get your Masters in Ninja Art ?

  • All this video needs is a Steven Segal one-liner and I'd pay 8 bucks to see it.
