This is a short video of me riding my 83 GS1100E starting on Rt. 318 in Pleasant Valley,CT to Rt 219 Newhartford / Barkhamsted, CT over Seville Dam and right at the fork...then a beautiful stretch of twisties ( oh if I could close off the road !!!! ) with a beautiful scene of Lake Mcdonough to what would be my right side. A short run indeed , but very indicative of the roads up here in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. The video is my first and I hope to post more since my Olympus Stylus 790SW ... shock & waterproof ...a must for taping to the front of motorcycles ;) I originally was just going to take pictures , but found myself riding around and going to Tractor Supply to pick up some clear Duct Tape ( not like being clear made a difference ) and voila! My first "action vid" Hope all the riders out there like it ...sorry about the audio a slight buzz between my fairing and the camera ...but otherwise the rabid Suzuki motor can be heard letting a roar or two rip.

  • Great stretch of roads. I live above the lower dam road there. Going up towards ski sundown. I guess I should stop taking them for granted. Frost heaves usually get the best of them each winter!

  • Thanks for the vid! only vid i've seen so far of riding like that in CT. I grew up in CT but moved to florida and got my first streetbike there. They don't have roads anything like that down here! that was like a roller coaster. I should be visiting family up there this summer with the bike, A littler nervous though, that looked a lot more challenging than anything i've ridden besides track days down here. But don't have to worry about nearly as many things at the track!

  • from Brasil star five GS1100 very good !!!!

  • That looks like an awesome ride! My dad owned a GS1000S Wes Cooley Replica back in the day. I was promised back in the day that if I got good grades that I would have gotten a GS1100E off the showroom floor but grades never happened. I did however purchase a Kawasaki Z1R and ended up selling that...stupid me that is now a classic and worth big money now, including the GS1000S Wes Cooley replica. I now have an 02' Kawasaki ZRX 1200R and in need of a ridding partner. A+ VID!

  • It was red but I brought it to Florida when I moved. Sold it to someone down here.
