i have 3 kids one who has turned 18 he has played video games all of his life and has gotten into fights with other kids but that has nothing to do with video games its just a boy blowing off steam and i think that game are a good way to do that as way isnt it better for a kid to fight and battle in a game than on the street. and to all of u OH THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN people im not saying im the perfect father but for god sake what are u doing letting ur kids play game they arnt ready for hmm?

I think if you switched this argument on it's head, we live in a violent society. But how many video game players are participating in this violence. This is something that is hard to look at, but from my school experience, I hung out with the "gamers" at least most of my friends played video games several times a week if not everyday. I wouldn't class any of them as violent students, however I couldn't say the same about the footy jocks with too much testosterone!
