Honda CX500 Cafe Racer First Start

My overhauled 1981 Honda CX 500 Cafe racer, first start-up in a loooong time after a lot of major work to the entire bike. Skip to 1:30 to avoid the mucking around at the start!

Doesn't idle too good yet and small aesthetic things will be fixed soon. Should be done within the month!

Excuse the slightly weird old man, not sure where he came from ;)

Wow, what a fantastic result! I've seen many customized CX's but this is one of the best I've ever seen. Very original! You'll see many heads turn towards you when riding.

beautyful bike, my cousin has an cx500e sports model, nice bikes but prety heavy for me at least, i have a gz250 (little baby) :P

i think you're having problem with the ignition system. Do you use the original cdi?

Looks Fantastic. My CX is in bits at the moment, so one and half years seems quite quick really.
