Nokia XpressMusic 5130 firmware flashing

Nokia XpressMusic 5130c-2 flash using JAF. The version is 6.65 Singapore red obtained using Navifirm. PPMeditor 3.0 lite by Stranger GT is used for editing PPM.

Hi, I have one problem.

I want to restore my factory settings (flash?), but it requires master code. By default, it should be 12345, but not on my phone. How could I flash (restore) it?

@TomicStefan you can try flash you phone..im not sure it will unlock it.

Hi, my 5130 XM giving prob.. wen i switch on, the phone hangs down. It displays only NOKIA while starting and stucks... Den how can i flash the phone.. Plz help me out

but it is my worning to all that its not a easy work to flash mobile , coz with wrong coding u can damage ur phone software and after that ur phone will become dead 4 ever so b careful

flash means reprogramming ur phone software. as u formet ur pc with boot cd like window 7 or xp nokia mobile also based on a software and we called it firmware.and when u flash ur mobile with flash software like NMS or other software it becomes like as when u buy it.

yes ur password will surely become to the factory setting and after flashing ur mobile ur pwd will be 12345.
