  • DUDE SLOW DOWN man are u on speed??? dont drink too much coffe mate!

  • I've noticed that most of the comments commending the use of the abacus are well written, using proper spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation, and most of the comments deriding the abacus and instead commending, say, the calculator, are written without as much thought to proper written English. This seems to indicate that people who think highly of thinking think better than those who think of ways to not think!

  • too bad for those who's internet browser lags when you rewind the video.

  • my head hurts now...too fast for me and I feel stoopid

  • very helpful

  • The multiplication I caught onto very quickly, the division on the other hand took many times of rewatching. If you don't understand the multiplication well, most of you should, the division on the other hand, just start x places over, depending on your number, in this video it was 1088, which is four digits then move one over to three digits then move over how ever many places y is in this video y was 8 so one digit so thats the tens place which is why he said it looks like 10.88 then do what

  • This was a little fast, I had trouble keeping up. I really want to learn how to use this amazing device, can anyone help my understand it better, I've already wathced the video three times.

  • @gelbundgrun Well written, dude. I agree completely.

  • I've been teaching myself to use an abacus, since I figured it would help to retrain me to do math in my head, which I used to be able to do well, before I stopped taking math classes. I'd still rather just use pencil and paper and do it the way I learned in school. A lot less confusing.
