Red Bull Air Race San Diego 2009 Highlights

Nicolas Ivanoff of France won the second Red Bull Air Race of the season in San Diego on Sunday with a superb run in the finals while championship leader Hannes Arch of Austria fell to third after suffering a bird strike that tore a grapefruit-sized hole on the back of his plane.

Some are but most come way of it as instructors and aerobatics. Aerobatics is the best training. Obviously those that have done a few of these would be better than anyone who hasn't. I guess its sort of like Bull Riding. The closest job to it is breaking horses on a ranch, but that's not very close to riding rodeo horses let alone rodeo bulls. You don't really know how to do it until you actually do it.

It sucks for Hannes Arch cuz of the bird that hit the back of his plane
