a virus that is affects an economy is not an emergency. The economy shouldn't have been an "emergency". Let the businesses fail and rebuild. Whenever the government gets involved with anything they just mess it up and make it worse.

This is just another way to make people freak out over nothing serious so that Obama can promote his "obamacare".

Just like when Bush made everyone freak out about the economy to promote his socialist bail out plan.

stanmarsh - Bird Flu has not spread from the chicken farm villages - It apparently is not as 'contagious' as H1N1 is at the moment.

if 30-40% of the population gets H1N1 which is possibility since those born after 1955 have had no exposure to this virus in their lives - thus no immunity to it. - how do you think 30% of POP sick will AFFECT an already insecure ECONOMY?

Out of work - can't shop - using medical resources.

FLU does not peak until Jan/Feb.

Oct09 we have more cases than Jan/Feb.

You jump to conclusions when you try to infer that I am a generally fearful person. I oppose the conspiracy radicals on the internet.

True - Vaccines have adjuvants and some have preservatives that have side effects.

I cringe at injecting things directly into the bloodstream.

On the other side - FLU VICTIMS are in hospitals with TONS of Medicine going into their veins.

No fear on my part, you sure sound a little scared. I promote common sense precautions too, like not overreacting in this fear mongering society we live in. I don't minimize the danger of flu, I simply pose the questions... Is it just a way to get us all to get the vaccine? What are we really injecting into our bodies? Is it possible we are overreacting?  I make light of life, you only live once. Enjoy it while you can, or be afraid of everything. Your choice, I made mine.

And, I, have the right to point out the other side. Free country, right? If I, by pointing out the H1N1 statisitics and facts creates fear in you...that is not my problem. I try to counter the "stick your head in the sand" about H1N1 and make light of it you-tube culture. I don't promote fear - just common sense precautions.

Free country. Go take prescription pills as you sit in your panic room with your gas mask and bullet proof vest. Be afraid, be very afraid. PS. would love to rap about unemployment. Well, LOL - Stanmarsh,

yeah french fries kill too - over a lifetime of an individual.

But, if it came out that 100 million people were going to die this year from eating French Fries...LOL

McDonalds stock would plummet from all the people suddenly taking care of themselves.

BTW...that is why I post about the realities of H1N1 and it's seriousness.

I want people to take care of themselves and build up immune systems...with or without the vaccine.

You said it, I heard that the H1N1 virus targets the uninsured specifically. That alone should push the need for a public option, wouldn't you think? ;)
